Tawia Designs are the new handcrafted and unique designed Ankara and Dashiki footwear on the market. They are inspired by the very rich African culture.
The fashion brand, which works in conjunction with Growing Power Inc. to help build sustainable communities in Africa was founded in 2013 and is based in Chicago, IL to provide comfortable footwear.

The inspiration behind the footwear was to promote the African culture. The designs feature a wide variety of African fabrics ranging from Dashkiki cloth, African Print cloth, to Leso cloth.

Their products are produced through a mixture of ethnic craftsmanship and aesthetic creativity. They believe in advancement by creating jobs throughout Africa which is why they take love to purchase their fabrics from many local textile shops around Africa.
